Talk in some areas on the net seems to hint that Persona 5 may come to Xbox. The Phantom Thieves making their way on to the platform could help Microsoft attract more gamers to the brand. Jez Corden, a Senior Editor for Windows Central, posted a video on Twitter of Persona 5 with the caption reading “I hope Xbox guys get to experience Persona series soon”. If Xbox does get Persona 5, it will be the first time a game in the mainline series gets released on another platform.
PlayStation has been the home for the Persona games with Nintendo receiving the side games Persona Q and Persona Q 2 on the Nintendo 3DS, while Joker from Persona 5 is included in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. At one point, players believed that Persona 5, or the enhanced version Persona 5 Royal, would show up on Nintendo Switch, but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. The latest release, Persona 5 Strikers, is available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. There is a possibility that either Persona 5 Royal or Strikers (or both) could show up on Xbox in the future.
