ICYM: The Great Ace Attorney– New Features, Gameplay Showcased

In Capcom’s E3 presentation, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles showed off some new features and gameplay elements.

In The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, you play as the legendary defense attorney Ryunosuke Naruhodo in Victorian era Great Britain and Japan. In the five and a half minute long features trailer, they show two new gameplay elements: Dance of Deduction, and Summation Examination.

In Dance of Deduction, you team up with “legendary” detective Herlock Sholmes (not to be confused with Sherlock Holmes) to interrogate witnesses and key characters you encounter. It will require asking the right questions, looking at your evidence, and even examining characters physically.

Summation Examination is new to the Ace Attorney series, and features cross examining the jury present during the criminal trials. Each juror will give their thoughts on the evidence and testimonies throughout the case, and it’s up to you to ensure that they are truthful in their summations. If you can break through their lies and contradictions, it will increase your chances of winning the case!

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles was released in Japan way back in 2015, and to much popular demand by Ace Attorney fans in the West, we finally get to see a localized version. The game series is set to release in the West on July 27 for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam PC.

Are you an Ace Attorney fan? Excited for this to finally release to the West? Share your excitement in the comments!
