It seems like it was only a week or two ago that I came out with a Game Pass update for late July, but Xbox still keeps bringing new games to the service! Recently Xbox Wire announced a slew of new games will be coming to the service throughout the first half of August.

Here’s what to expect for the month of August:

• Curse of the Dead Gods (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 5
• Dodgeball Academia (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 5
• Katamari Damacy Reroll (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 5
• Lumines Remastered (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 5
• Skate (Console) EA Play – August 5
• Skate 3 (Cloud) EA Play – August 5
• Starmancer (Game Preview) (PC) – August 5
• Art of Rally (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 12
• Hades (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 13
• Microsoft Solitaire Collection: Premium Edition (PC) – August 17

One of the biggest games to hit the service is Hades, which won numerous Indie Game of the Year awards in 2020. With more and more news dropping about the development of the new Skate game, you can now go back and play Skate and Skate 3 from the Xbox 360.

Also hitting Game Pass on release day is Dodgeball Academia, which is a sports RPG that has you forge friendships and bonds, and also enemies, as you live and breathe dodgeball.

All good things eventually come to an end, so watch for these games to leave the service. Don’t forget that if you want to purchase the game, you get a 20% discount if you’re a Game Pass subscriber.

Game Pass starts at $9.99 a month, and the Ultimate subscription is $14.99 a month, which includes a Gold subscription and access to EA Play.
