A new trailer released on Tuesday reveals that cartoonist Jim Davis’ famous character Garfield the cat will be joining Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl as free DLC on December 9th.

The trailer showcases some of the portly feline’s moveset, including tossing pies and using a newspaper to deliver swift whacks.

There is no sign of other Garfield characters such as Jon Arbuckle, Odie, or Nermal, but it appears the cat does use his stuffed bear Pookie for one of his attacks.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl released on October 5th, and features a variety of Nickelodeon characters (Ren & Stimpy, CatDog, Helga Pataki, SpongeBob SquarePants, and more) doing battle in a Super Smash Bros. inspired fighting game. While it enjoyed initial enthusiasm from fans, the title has experienced lukewarm reviews since release.
