Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game Coming From Gun Interactive

A new online survival horror game based on the acclaimed Texas Chain Saw Massacre film series was unveiled during Thursday night’s The Game Awards.

The upcoming game is being developed by Gun Interactive, the same studio behind the hit title Friday the 13th: The Game; the studio had been working on a follow-up game called Friday the 14th, but legal disputes led to the project being shelved.

Friday the 13th: The Game pit a group of survivors against a single murderer character, and it is assumed that The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will continue this trend.

The iconic film series began in 1974, and was presented as “true story” in which a group of stranded young adults are terrorized by a madman named Leatherface who wields a chainsaw and wears a mask made of human skin.

No release date has been given for the game at this time.
