Late last year, developer CD Projekt Red that they would be releasing Xbox Series X|S optimized versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher III: Wild Hunt for players who already purchased the games for free. V’s adventure would be released in Q1 while Geralt’s latest quest would be released in Q2.
Now it seems Cyberpunk 2077‘s release is imminent, as CD Projekt RED is readying a presentation during their REDStreams event today at 10:00AM ET on their Twitch channel.
Cyberpunk 2077 released on December 10, 2020 to varying reviews depending on what platform it was played on, infamously being removed from PlayStation Network due to its poor quality. Several updates have improved the experience, but in many ways it didn’t deliver the experience many were anticipating since its announcement in 2013.
