The final two weeks of February have been jam-packed full of top-tier and highly anticipated titles that’ll make the wallets of even the biggest gamers tremble in fear. The team at Cross Roads decided to share our own roster of games we’ll be tackling for the weekend. Take a look and see if our weekend gaming adventures line up with your own game selections this weekend!

I could easily just say I’m playing more Monster Hunter Rise on PC this weekend, but I’m going to invest more time in Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection because I’m right at the ending segments of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and really ready to sink my teeth into Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. As an Uncharted fan, it was a no-brainer that I’d get this collection of PS5, and I will be buying it again when the PC version is released later!

I plan on playing Horizon Forbidden West and hopefully getting out of the first area which I’m still not out of. I was inches away from buying Elden Ring this week, but I refrained. Maybe I’ll make the purchase next week.

I got Elden Ring based on hype from a student of mine who participated in the game’s alpha. I have never played a Dark Souls game, but I know those games are hard, and that’s kind of the point, so I broke down and bought Elden Ring–two copies, actually. One for me and one for the student I mentioned earlier. He lives in Florida now and goes to school down there. I figured it would be a good way for us to spend time and he can tell me about school and whatnot. I’ve played through the tutorial so far and I like the controls and gameplay. The first thing I came across killed me in two hits, so that was eye-opening! It’ll take some getting used to, but I’m down for the challenge!

Stoy Jovic: Associate Writer, Boss Rush Network

I’m playing Horizon Forbidden West this weekend. The graphics are some of the best PS5 had to offer, and I’m enjoying the vast exploration and action elements this game has delivered. Their direction on how they wrote Aloy as a stubborn protagonist is an interesting premise and has me vested.

It looks like Elden Ring didn’t have enough pull for the crew this weekend! Horizon Forbidden West continues to ride high for Team Cross Roads. Is Elden Ring going to dominate your systems this weekend or is there another title that has your attention?
