Boss Rush Banter: Which Starter Will You Pick in Pokémon Scarlet/Violet?

This past Sunday the Pokémon Company announced that the next pair of Pokémon games comes out later this year. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will feature an “open world where towns with no borders blend seamlessly into the wilderness.” Also announced were the three new Gen 9 starter Pokémon: the Grass Cat Sprigatito, Fire Croc Fuecoco, or the Water Duckling Quaxly. Which starter are you going to chose later this year?

Sprigatito is a Grass-type Pokémon, and is described as a “capricious, attention-seeking Grass Cat Pokémon.”

Fuecoco, a Fire-type Pokémon, is described as a “laid-back Fire Croc Pokémon that does things at its own pace.”

The third starter is Quaxly, a Water-type Pokémon described as an “earnest and tidy Duckling Pokémon.”

For me, I just can’t get over Quaxly’s little hat, or hair, or whatever is on top of his head, so I will absolutely be picking him first when Violet/Scarlet come out later this year. What about you?
