The PlayStation Plus games for April 2022 have been announced and here’s everything subscribers for PlayStation Plus have to look forward to! Are you ready?

This month, gamers will have the opportunity to visit Bikini Bottom, become legends in a medieval land, and stack the deck in a unique roguelike experience.

Your April 2022 PlayStation Plus games are:
Hood: Outlaws & Legends
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated
Slay the Spire

Hood: Outlaws & Legends (PS5 & PS4)

Hood: Outlaws and Legends is a multiplayer PvPvE heist game from Sumo Digital and Focus Home interactive. Rival gangs compete in daring heists to hit the wealthy where it hurts. Equipped with unique skills and mystical abilities, each character moves in stealth to steal treasures unseen. It’s up to you to recruit your band of outlaws, master formidable fortresses and outplay your rivals.

Every game of Hood: Outlaws & Legends pits you and your friends against a rival group of four other players who are also aiming to steal the treasure. You and your team must work together to select your band of complementary outlaws, each with unique abilities to offer, before infiltrating vast, medieval strongholds. Outsmart the opposing team and villainous State to find, steal, and return the riches unfairly taken from the people.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (PS4)

The classic platformer returns, faithfully remade in spongetastic splendor! Play as SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy and use their unique sets of skills to thwart Plankton’s evil plan to rule Bikini Bottom with his army of wacky robots.

Slay the Spire (PS4)

If you wish to ascend to the top of the Spire, you must choose your cards wisely! Embark on a journey up the ever-changing Spire, in this fantasy deck builder adventure that fuses together card games and roguelikes. Craft a unique deck from hundreds of cards to efficiently dispatch foes and reach the top. Discover powerful relics to enhance your deck’s powers to help you overcome different enemies and bosses.

Having previously been rumored on other sites and social media, this month’s entries for PlayStation Plus have already been met with a lukewarm reception by gamers and subscribers of PS Plus alike. The three titles mentioned above scored decently well in reviews across the internet when they were all initially released. A major part of the overall disappointment might have to do with last week’s news that PlayStation Plus was officially receiving a major overhaul.

All three games will be available on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. As of this writing, there has been no word from Sony whether new games are coming this month to PlayStation Now. Is it possible PS Now will be at a standstill until the PS Plus revamp takes place in June 2022?
