Depending on your tastes, it might be a very slow week for gaming because the pickings are slim in this crowded list of releases coming to systems. Indie games seem to be holding down the fort while Chernobylite makes it to consoles and PCs everywhere this week and another racing game manages to grace our presence.
Streets of Rage Movie Inbound
According to Deadline, SEGA is planning on bringing another one of their long-running franchises to the big screen: Streets of Rage. Derek Kolstad, the writer of the John Wick series and the movie Nobody, has already penned a script based on the side-scrolling beat ’em up.

Will We Really Miss E3?
E3, the long-standing trade event in the video game industry, has been canceled for this year. While the COVID-19 pandemic is still preventing major in-person events from occurring, the ESA (Entertainment Software Association) has decided to also scrap the idea of a digital event, citing that they will be allocating their time and resources for 2023.
