Nintendo Direct News: Finally, a New Zelda Title Revealed with Release Date

9/13/2022

The final trailer at the September 2022 Nintendo Direct revealed what many people were waiting for with baited breath: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It will release May 12, 2023.

The trailer opens quietly, featuring several scrolls of artwork. While unfamiliar at first, we start seeing recognizable characters until the music swells, and we see our hero, Link, bursting through double doors and then leaping off the ledge. We also see several new technological devices that Link will use in his journey, then it fades to darkness with a ring of bright, glowing green–featuring two mysterious creatures–surrounding the new title.

In case you missed it…Please check out the trailer in the below tweet and come theorize about the game with us on our Boss Rush Facebook Group or our Boss Rush Discord.

Stay tuned for more updates.
