Well known senior media executive Sharon Tal Yguado, who has worked on television series such as The Walking Dead, The Boys, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, recently unveiled that she will be starting her own game studio called Astrid Entertainment. Also, it has received investment money from investors such as NetEase Games, a Chinese internet technology company.
Using her creative influence, Yguado said that she wanted to create games by bringing together creative minds to develop fantastical worlds that surrounded positivity and community. The newly formed company is currently creating its first world, that will harness worldbuilding and deep lore that will create enjoyable and hopefully new experiences for its players.
No news on when the game may be shown, since this is a relatively a new venture, but Astrid Entertainment wants to see their vision come to life for a new generation that is different and fresh. We will see if these goals will shine through into the game.
Have you enjoyed any shows that Sharon Tal Yguado has been a face of? Do you hope that the new studio delivers on the goals it has set out to reach? What type of game are you hoping they are working on? Let us know your thoughts.
