Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been pushed to next year after speculations that the game might not reach its May 26th release date.
The game will now release on February 2nd, 2024. Rocksteady, the developer, made a brief statement on Twitter:
Following the reaction during the PlayStation State of Play in February 2023, Bloomberg claimed that the game would be postponed. Since its previous gameplay presentation, which confirmed an always-online necessity and live service components like as a cosmetics-only battle pass, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has attracted criticism. Many complained that the game’s cooperative loot-based shooting is an unimaginative match for the property.
According to sources reported in Bloomberg’s original story last month, Rocksteady was just pushing the game for polish and had no plans to modify the game’s existing foundation. Even if a nearly-year delay is significant, it is highly improbable that it will be enough time for the squad to make the huge adjustments that some supporters are looking for.
