Shin Kamen Rider's American Showing Adds New Date

Due to high demand, Fathom is adding more showings and a second night to its showing of Shin Kamen Rider. Originally scheduled to play in theaters across the United States on May 31, the company has added more showings on that night and on June 5.

Kamen Rider is a long-running superhero action-adventure franchise. Shin Kamen Rider is acclaimed director Anno Hideaki’s remake of the original series, in which Nazi organization SHOCKER captures stunt rider Takeshi Hongo to be made into a cyborg superweapon. Hongo breaks free of his programing and fights against all of SHOCKER’s other cyborgs and monsters. The film is similar to Anno and Higuchi Shinji’s Shin Ultraman: a loving remake and update of the original series from the 1970s.
