Akira Toriyama
In a brief memo to the public, Bird Studios and Capsule Corporation Tokyo announced the passing of manga legend, Akira Toriyama, on March 1st, 2024, due to an acute subdural hematoma.
Toriyama is most known for the Dragon Ball manga series–which has been around since 1984–but he also designed video game characters for Chrono Trigger, Blue Dragon, and the Dragon Quest series.
Akira Toriyama was 68.
