The new feature of trading in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is now available, although it’s received lots of criticism already. It’s not as simple and clear as we’d hope, and until The Pokémon Company, DeNa, and Creatures finds a workaround, I’m here to set you get situated.
1) From your home screen, select the Social Hub option at the bottom:
2) On the Social Hub page, select Trade:
You will see two factors required to trade: Trade Tokens and Trade Stamina.
- Trade Tokens: Required to trade high-rarity cards.
- If you run out, head to “My Cards” and select any of your cards you’re willing to relinquish. Click on that card, and you will see “Obtain Items“. From there, you can exchange for tokens.
- Trade Stamina: Like stamina needed for Wonder Picks, it takes time to replenish (One per day, up to five units max).
At this time, you can only trade with friends. Click the trade button, and your friend’s list will appear.
3) Select a friend to trade with:
4) Choose the card that you wish to trade, then wait for a response:
Important tips:
- You can only trade cards of the same rarity.
- Cards with flair can be exchanged only with cards with flair as well
- Some cards cannot be traded at this time, including promos or certain high-rarity/expansion cards.
- You can only trade one card/with one friend at a time.
