Xenoblade Chronicles series composer Manami Kiyota has finished her final orchestra recording for a secret new project, she states, which may be the latest title from developer Monolith Soft.

Kiyota posted on X that she had been working on this project since summer 2024, and this is her first large-scale recording session as a solo composer. She further clarified that all 86 tracks were composed and arranged by she alone, and that all orchestral parts were also prepared by herself.

This was the final orchestra recording session for a project I have been working on since the summer of 2024.

Kiyota first revealed in July 2025 that she was working on a new project with “creators from around the world,” and fans have been eagerly awaiting new titles ever since.

Kiyota has worked almost exclusively with Monolith Soft on the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise, with her having contributed extensively to the soundtracks of all entries except for Xenoblade Chronicles X. Besides Xenoblade, Kiyota’s IMDB page only lists arrangements for PokéPark Wii, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and a single episode of Level Up Norge. While it’s possible that she is working with a new developer on a fresh new project, it is very likely that these 86 tracks are going towards something from Monolith Soft.
