Tetris 99’s Maximus Cup Features Skyward Sword

Tetris 99 is back with a new Maximus Cup which is focused on recent release The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Nintendo announced the recent maximus cup via tweet which you can see here:

The #Tetris99 23rd MAXIMUS CUP event will run from 12am PT, August 6 – 11:59pm PT, on August 9! Once you've accumulated a total of 100 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music, and Tetrimino designs inspired by The Legend of #Zelda: #SkywardSwordHD game! pic.twitter.com/q6yRtncjPe

Typically Nintendo will feature new a Maximus Cup shortly after they release a big title. All you have to do is play Tetris 99, score 100 points, and earn your new Skyward Sword skin. The event runs from midnight PST August 6 to 11:59 on August 9.
