SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble will introduce a selection of new modes and DLC characters. The free 2.0 update features a first-person mode, as well as new adventure challenges, new battle stages, and new battle modes. VTuber Saegusa Akina is set to receive a free DLC, which will allow players to use a variety of cosmetics inspired by the personality: a t-shirt, a themed monkey ball, and a costume.

Paid DLC adds Godzilla, King of the Monsters, and Hatsune Miku, queen of the virtual singers, to the roster. Godzilla will collect wrecked trains, rather than bananas, while Ms. Miku collects musical notes.

Adventure Mode introduces a Super Speed mechanic, which rolls the players’ precarious balls all the faster, and more difficult Ultimate EX stages. A Banana Bonus option will reduce the overall scored time in Time Attack. This update also removes the pause before retrying a level, allowing the player to immediately jump back into action. The No Miss Challenge tasks players with completing as many levels in a row as they can without falling overboard.

Super Punchy Brawl, a new multiplayer mode, grants players a boxing glove to punch their foes off a map. Smaller updates include a character randomizer and demo save importing.

The 2.0 update and DLC will be available on November 26.
