Called up to the Sky Box, our Righteous Wrestlers start the episode face to face with the Olympians. Tabatha immediately goes on the defensive, flashing her claws as Nike ensures they haven’t brought any weapons. Luckily, Thea calms the tension before Big Z shouts his greeting. Unfortunately, the group fails to contain Tabatha once Aphrodite strides over, but the goddess of love dismisses her once sister as a nobody.
There’s a time to fight and a time for persuasion in any game. Knowing the difference between the two can smooth the way, but Chelsea isn’t looking at the big picture, maintaining the offensive even against more powerful foes who require more subtle machinations to beat. Xavier had Julius come to Tabatha’s rescue; however, even with Thea’s help, the group fumbles in the face of one of, if not their most, dangerous enemy.
Barely making it out of the interaction without a fight, the group then faces Poseidon who is surprisingly welcoming until Tabatha’s old mentor shows up. Tabatha immediately states her intentions against Aphrodite.

In most games, I’d be immediately suspicious that this would end up being a huge mistake due to the high potential for betrayal, out of loyalty to the current system or fear of the gods’ fury, but as a teacher, Brennan definitely has the training wheels on, which honestly is going to be a saving grace if Tabatha keeps the claws out.
Even with the training wheels, Brennan has the gods plotting to knock our Righteous Wrestlers out of the competition! Putting them face to face against Nature’s Wrath, the gods set them up for destruction, but our heroes fight back with a dance battle.

While Julius and Thea take out the Pegasus, Nature’s Wrath won’t go down that easily. The Satyr slams Tabatha, dodging when Julius intercedes. When he fails on the Satyr, Julius turns his attention to the Centaur which Adonis has prone. The pair tag-team the Centaur, keeping him pinned.
Thea manages to knock the Satyr out, and switching opponents, Tabatha charms the Dryad, concurring the remaining member of Nature’s Wrath.

Caught beneath her sway, the Dryad abandons the fight, perching outside the arena and forfeiting the match.

With only the Centaur left, Adonis ends the match.
Highlights
That being said, our rambunctious team worked together, doing the work to read over the nuances of their character sheets and prevent the worst from happening. If Chelsea can hold back and survey the scene a bit better, they might just have a chance of avoiding the most dangerous traps that lay ahead.
Final Score (4 out of 5 Stars)
A strong second episode with clear signs of learning put the Righteous Wrestlers on the path to victory. Plenty of challenges await them, and I’m sure a plethora of puns and tropes will be coming our way when our Righteous Wrestlers enter the Dimension 20 dome once more.
