How to Find and Catch Kadabra in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Who knew that Game Freak could stuff over 200 Pokémon in the city setting of Lumiose City for Pokémon Legends: Z-A? With alleyways, Wild Zones, and roof tops, we’re here to help you locate and catch ’em all. Today, we will show you where you can find and catch Kadabra!

Kadabra can be an ideal psychic Pokémon to have in your roster. Although you must trade it in order to evolve it into Alakazam, the Mega Evolution available makes it worth your while. Here is one easy location to find Kadabra:

Head to Wild Zone 9

Wild Zone 9 isn’t available at the start of the game. It will appear once you reach Main Mission 10. It is located on the western side of Lumiose City in Magenta Sector 5. It borders South Boulevard and Estival Avenue.

There are a couple of places to find Kadabra within Wild Zone 9. If you warp to Cafe Rouleau and round the corner to your left, enter the northeast entrance. You will find a lone Kadabra by a corner near a ladder.

If you enter via any other entrance or keen on exploring, you can also climb up the available ladders and head toward the roof of the eastern building. Location below:

Battle Kadabra!

Kadabras aren’t shy and will attack you on sight. Send out a Pokémon to fight on your behalf. The Kadabras here are around Level 29. Your odds are better with a Great or Ultra Ball if you have it. I tried a regular Poke Ball, and it failed, even when I knocked it out.

And voila! You caught a Kadabra!
