A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, has been announced for a Nintendo Switch release as a cloud version. According to A Plague Tale’s twitter page, it is releasing as a multi-platform title.
Announced originally at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase during E3, Focus Home Interactive showed off the game for the Xbox family of platforms. To see the sequel announced as a cloud version for the Nintendo Switch was a unexpected surprise. Since games like Hitman 3 and Control received cloud versions and having success from it, we may see future titles come to the console. There’s also the possibility A Plague Tale: Innocence may also come to the Switch in the future.
