The sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, A Plague Tale: Requiem, was announced with a cinematic trailer at the Microsoft + Bethesda E3 Showcase today.
The game continues to follow the story of Hugo and his older sister Amicia struggle for survival in a rampant, plague-ridden Medieval world. For those that remember the underrated hit from A Plague Tale: Innocence, Hugo had the power to control the rats that carried the plague, and his power seems to be growing stronger, if the trailer is an indication.
Expect this game to come out on Xbox Series X/S (on Game Pass Day One as well), PlayStation 5, PC, and on Nintendo Switch’s Cloud Streaming Technology in 2022.
I didn’t expect a sequel, did you? Let me know in the comments!
