As Day 1 of E3 has officially started, we all were in for a treat for more titles to be announced. One company we were all looking forward to was Gearbox Software. Gearbox is mostly known for popular franchises such as Borderlands, Duke Nukem, and Half-Life. However, their 30 minute presentation brought few announcements that may pique your interest.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderland
We kicked off by Randy Pitchford introducing himself, and touring the set of the Borderlands movie that is in production. Once we got to the gaming, the first game they showed off was Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, which was the same trailer from the Summer Game Fest. There was no new news or updated gameplay during this presentation.
Next, they showed a small trailer to announce Homeworld 3. Stating that the game is in production, little is known at this time. No platform has been announced yet, but we may learn more in later in the year.
Tribes of Midgard
The followed up with the 10-player co-op, Tribes Of Midgard. In this game, you must protect the realm of Midgard by defeating monsters, giants, and sorcery that will try and stop and destroy you in this action RPG. You’ll craft weapons, build towns, and go further into Midgard to fight hordes of enemies. It may be risky but the reward will be worth it. Check out the trailer to see for yourself. Tribes Of Midgard releases on July 27th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
Godfall is coming to PlayStation 4 on August 10, this game was previously released on PlayStation 5 as a launch game. Also coming to the game is the new DLC titled Fire & Darkness: Lightbringer. Its included in the Deluxe and Ascended editions of the game. Watch the trailer for its first look.
After all of those trailers Randy Pitchford talked to Kevin Hart for a little bit, and that wrapped up the presentation. With the small amount of announcements, Gearbox is sure to have more up their sleeve to reveal at a later time. You can watch the full presentation down below.
