The fifth installment of the Elder Scrolls series, Skyrim, is arguably the most popular game in the long standing series, and this year marks the tenth anniversary of the open world RPG. If you missed out on Skyrim on PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360, Switch, PC (again), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 VR, PC VR, or Xbox One, then you’re in luck, because Bethesda will be releasing a new port of Skyrim for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S titled The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Anniversary Edition on November 11, 2021, which is the exact 10 year anniversary of the original release.

Even though this is another port, there will be a lot of additional content added. Mainly, all three expansions Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn will all be added, the enhancements from the 2016 release will all be added. Most interesting of the additions, is that Bethesda said it includes over 500 pieces of mostly user-made content from the Creation Club, including quests, dungeons, bosses, weapons, spells, and “more.”
Are all of these additions enough to get you to buy Skyrim again? Let us know in the comments section or on our Discord!
