New details have been shared by Nintendo regarding the new Splatoon sequel set to release in 2022. New weapons and abilities were shown for the popular Turf War, which is still set as 4 vs. 4, including a crab-like tank and a grapplehook-like ability. A single player campaign titled Return of the Mammalians was teased by the “Squid Researcher” after the main trailer. It is still a mystery with what we will discover, but mammal additions to the two cat characters are strongly hinted.
