Firmament, the latest game developed by Cyan Worlds Inc., is set to release on May 18, 2023. On that date, it will release on PC, Mac, and VR platforms Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Rift S, and Quest 2 via Oculus Link. Versions for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PSVR will follow later this year. The game is now available to wishlist on Steam. Cyan Worlds Inc. was founded by Rand and Robin MIller, the developers of the classic Myst series.
Firmament takes players into three different art deco or steampunk flavored realms, as they seek to uncover the worlds’ mysteries. Unlike previous Cyan Worlds Inc. games, the player is equipped with an item to help them interact with the world, an “Adjunct,” which should put 2D and VR players on an equal footing.

Additionally, Firmament includes many “comfort level” features for both new and experienced VR users, including the option to enable smooth or snap turning, quick travel up stairs and ladders, vertical height quantization, and more!
