During the Nintendo Direct on June 18, Nintendo announced that another sport would join the lineup in Nintendo Switch Sports this summer.
With the last update being in November 22 with the golf expansions, anticipation now begins for the newest addition, Basketball.
Not much is known about the upcoming free update.
Basketball free update: Basketball is coming to Spocco Square in the Nintendo Switch Sports game as a free update! Use motion controls to sink as many baskets as you can within the time limit in the solo Three-Point Challenge.
Using your Joy-Cons, you will be able to dribble, pass, and shoot the basketball. You can play two on two matches locally or online!
There will also be online challenges including the Five-Streak Battle and a three point contest.
