It was a busy day for announcements at the Pokémon  Company. They announced a new Pokémon  direct coming on July 22nd, 2025, where we will get some updates to current known projects and perhaps some information on new ones as well. We shall see what they have up their sleeves.

Another important announcement to note is the release date for Pokémon Legends Z-A. It will launch on October 16th, 2025, for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It was revealed in Aprils Nintendo Direct that this game would be coming to both consoles. They also showcased the cover art for the game which has a nighttime ambience with many of the various Pokémon shown front and center.
