Ubisoft is celebrating three decades of one of its oldest and most popular franchises with a special edition game that’s set for release today.

Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition features the original PlayStation launch title, plus loads of extras, and is available today for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC via Steam and the Ubisoft Store, as well as on the Ubisoft+ subscription service.

Created by acclaimed video game designer Michel Ancel (Beyond Good & Evil, Peter Jackson’s King Kong), Rayman was one of the PlayStation’s first hits, thanks in large part for its beautifully hand drawn 2D worlds and challenging platforming gameplay. In the game, players control Rayman in his attempt to rescue the cheerful Electoons, which have been captured by the nefarious Mr. Dark, who is set to rid the world of light, and cover the colorful kingdoms with his wicked darkness.

The game is filled with additional content, which includes:

• Five versions of the 1995 classic, including PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance
• Never-before-playable SNES prototype
• 120 additional levels from bonus level packs
• Reimagined soundtrack by composer Christophe Héral
• Enhanced gameplay features including 60-second rewind, infinite lives, and invincibility
• Exclusive interactive documentary

The documentary mentioned features more than 50 minutes of interviews with the original developers, as well as never-before-seen concept art, sketches, and design documents.
