Rumor: Ubisoft Games Coming to Game Pass, According to Insider

A notorious industry insider that goes by the handle of Shpeshal Ed has indicated that more Ubisoft games will be coming to Xbox’s popular Game Pass service by year’s end.

Writing on a Discord server earlier this week, Shpeshal Ed admitted that while he is not confident that all Ubisoft games will be coming to the subscription service, he could confirm that many of their games will be added to the already robust roster of titles.

Ubisoft recently began a paid subscription service of their own titled Ubisoft+, which allows customers to enjoy “over 100 games” for the price of $14.99. All newly released Ubisoft titles are made instantly available on the platform. It is unknown, though doubtful, if the same will occur on Xbox’s Game Pass.

Microsoft has been ramping up their Game Pass service, frequently making available new games to stream and play. Just two days ago it was announced that 20 Bethesda games will be coming to the service as part of Microsoft’s acquisition of the company.

What Ubisoft games do you hope to enjoy on Game Pass? Have you tried Ubisoft+, and if so what do you think of the service? We’d love to hear what you have to say in the comments below!
