After the massive video game event was cancelled last year, we in the gaming community have been starving for E3 to return in all its glory. E3 2021 will not have a physical venue; however, E3expo.com has released details on how this virtual event will be realized.

Thanks to Game Cloud Network, HCL Technologies Ltd and Revyrie Inc., there’ll be an app and online portal that will act as a hub to access all things E3: conferences, forums, virtual booths and lounges, a means to create your own profile and avatar, and many other events. There will also be a live broadcast hosted by Greg Miller, Alex Mendez, and Jacki Jing.

From the moment we decided to host E3 virtually, we’ve been focused on providing an interactive experience for fans around the globe that goes beyond the typical livestream.

The good news: access will be free, and you can expect it to open up later this month. As a friendly reminder, E3 will run Saturday, June 12th through Tuesday, June 15th. Early access will be granted for the media for five days prior to the event starting June 7th, and a virtual calendar can be utilized to schedule appointments.
