The Nintendo Direct at E3 kicked off Zelda news with a gameplay trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity expansion pass, where you play in the world that took place 100 years before Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Footage included Zelda riding on the Master Cycle Zero, a Guardian clearing a field of bokoblins, Link swinging a Guardian-like flail weapon, and much more. Wave 1, titled Pulse of the Ancients, is set to release June 18th. Here, we will get an expanded roster, weapons, and an Apocalyptic difficulty level.

Wave 2, named Guardian of Remembrance, will arrive in November. In this release, we can expect new character vignettes, more playable characters, and additional skills for current characters.
