Boss Rush Banter: Which Game Do You Hope Sony Reveals This Week?

It’s speculation time again! Sony just recently announced that they will be hosting a PlayStation Showcase event on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 4:00 pm Eastern / 1:00 pm Pacific. Stated to be approximately 40 minutes long and to showcase games from PlayStation Studios as well as third-party developers “releasing this holiday and beyond,” the event is sure to be jam-packed with games we know are about to release and new announcements as well. We know they will probably show off more of Horizon: Forbidden West and hopefully more of the yet-to-be-officially-titled God of War: Ragnarok, but which other announcements do you hope PlayStation will make during this event?

Are you just wanting to find out more about games that have already been announced? Maybe an offical title and trailer for the next God of War game, or more information about the long-rumored remake of the original The Last of Us game?

Personally, I hope they at least tease a new entry in either the Spider-Man series or the Uncharted series. I’m a huge fan of both series, and would love to see where the PlayStation 5 would take Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Nathan Drake. Heck, I’d even love an announcement of a new AstroBot game, which has quickly become the Mario of the PlayStation family.

And now that I am thinking about it, I’d love to see more about Hogwarts: Legacy, although that isn’t a PlayStation exclusive, so maybe they won’t spend a lot of time on that game during this showcase. But what about you? Which announcement are you hoping for the most? Let us know in the comments below, or join the conversation on the Boss Rush Discord.
