Cuphead was one of the most unique games to grace gamers in the last decade. Its homage to 1930s animation mixed with incredibly challenging gameplay really created an instantly iconic indie and a must have for Xbox fans. As its popularity grew, Netflix made a deal Studio MDHR to create a cartoon based on the classics Cuphead was based off of in the first place.
In a recent press release, Netflix finally announced a release date for the show, simply titled The Cuphead Show. The twelve episode first season is coming to the streaming giant on February 18, 2022. Each episode will run about twelve minutes long and will follow the adventures of Cuphead and Mugman, the main protagonists of the game.
Alongside the new cartoon, Studio MDHR is finally releasing the highly anticipated DLC for the original game sometime in 2022, aptly named Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, starring Ms. Chalice, with all new moves, bosses, islands, and more.
