This week, Activision released some upcoming information about Call of Duty 2022. This year’s game will be a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare, once again developed by Infinity Ward.

The even bigger surprise, however, is that a sequel to the free-to-play Warzone battle royale built from the ground up with a new engine, designed to be “a massive evolution of Battle Royale with all-new playspace and a new sandbox mode.​”
