During The Game Awards, a cinematic trailer for the upcoming Star Wars title Eclipse was revealed. The game comes from developer Quantic Dream, known for such hits as Indigo Prophecy, Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls, and Detroit: Stay Human.

Eclipse is to be set during the High Republic era, a time “hundreds of years” before the Skywalker Saga. The developer admits that players will assume the role of “a diverse cast of charismatic characters, each with their own story, abilities, and role to play in the tapestry of events that could alter the carefully balanced peace of the Outer Rim.”

While few other details are outlined in the trailer, the game does seem to continue the developer’s penchant for delivering cinematic gaming experiences.
