During the current lifecycle of the Switch, the Xenoblade series has gotten a lot of attention between their two releases Xenoblade Chronicles DE and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. During the February Nintendo Direct, Xenoblade 3 was revealed at the end giving the series even more attention.

The trailer shows a character that resembles Nia (Xenoblade 2) and others in a world where it seems like Xenoblade 1 and Xenoblade 2‘s worlds collide. If we’re to expect what we’ve seen in other Xenoblade games, then there will be huge lively worlds to explore with wonderful music playing in the background.

After the reveal trailer, a little more information was released during a press release. Here’s what Nintendo said during the press release:
Players will step into the roles of protagonists Noah and Mio amid turmoil between the hostile nations of Keves and Agnus. Six characters hailing from those nations will take part in a grand tale with ‘life’ as its central theme.”
Director Tetsuya Takahashi
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is set to release in September 2022. You can watch the trailer here:
