The February Nintendo Direct presentation shared new details about the upcoming release of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp. Nintendo explained that this remake of the Game Boy Advance games will include voice acting, “bringing even more charm” to the characters. 

A turn reset option and the ability to fast-forward the game was also shown off, with Nintendo boasting “a smoother tactical experience” as a result. Additional modes, including a high score mode called the War Room, a custom map builder named the Design Room, and local and online multiplayer, were also displayed.

Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp is releasing on April 8, 2022, and is available now to pre-order on the Nintendo eShop.
