Resident Evil 4 is one of the most beloved games in the long running series. It’s shift to the third person perspective and added action oriented sequences really evolved what people thought of both the survival horror and action shooters. With the success of the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, there was no doubt that the fourth entry was next in line.
Even though the remake has yet to be announced (though there is a Capcom Presentation soon), sources have said that there will be some changes in the story, creating a game more in line with its prequels. For example, the scene where Leon is introduced to the village now takes place at night and Ada’s story would be expanded.
The reveal is said to be early 2022, which again points to the countdown on Capcom’s website.
