Musician Aaron Grubb Releases New Music Under Another Artist Name, Celebrates Pokémon

Talented musician Aaron Grubb is at it again, this time with a brand new project. Previously, Grubb has released a number of beloved music covers from The Legend of Zelda; he’s also created two full-length albums celebrating the Zelda franchise (One of which releases this month!).

For his latest project, Grubb has released original music under a new artist name, Another Mulligan. The first song released, “I Choose You,” is a celebration of Pokémon and the relationship between a trainer and a certain favorite starter. “You’re electric…” sings Another Mulligan, and with those lyrics, you’ll be longing for the good old days and looking for your Game Boy.

When asked about the name, Grubb explained, “Mulligan was originally a golf term, but was co-opted by the Pokemon card game as kind of a ‘do over’. I came up with the name after have 3 mulligans in a row while playing the game with my son.” Grubb plans to create three to five more original songs about Pokémon under the artist name.

As part of this new project, Grubb has collaborated with artist Holly, who has worked with him previously on Zelda related projects. The cover art featured for Another Mulligan’s new song can be seen below:
