Devolver Digital has announced that the first limited-time event for their hit occult simulation game Cult of the Lamb begins today.
Called the “Blood Moon Festival,” the event runs from October 24th to November 10th, and allows players to unlock all new content, including a new ritual, follower forms, and decorations.
The new “Blood Moon Ritual” will allow players to raise members of their flock that have perished, and bring them back to the land of the living as productive wandering spirits.
Three new follower forms have been added, including a crow-like creature, a demon with wing-like ears, and one that appears to have a steer’s skull for a head.
New decorations such as the Blood Moon Tree have also been included, letting gamers spruce up their cult’s camp with some fresh aesthetics.
Lastly, a new music track has been put into the game, giving players one more techno-infused beat to jam to while they raise an army of devoted followers.
Developed by Massive Monster, Cult of the Lamb released on August 11th to critical and commercial acclaim. The game features a mix of roguelike, action-adventure, city building, and resource management gameplay. You can read our review or check it out in video form below.
