Cliffhanger Games, New EA Studio, Announces Black Panther Project

EA Games announced the debut of their new, AAA, Seattle-based studio, Cliffhanger Games. They timed it with the 57th anniversary of Marvel’s first comic book release of the Black Panther.

Cliffhanger will be lead by former Monolith Production’s Kevin Stephens and has recruited folks who worked on celebrated titles such as Call of Duty, God of War, and Halo Infinite.

Wakanda is a rich SuperHero sandbox, and our mission is to develop an epic world for players who love Black Panther and want to explore the world of Wakanda as much as we do,”

Cliffhanger will be working with Marvel Games, vowing to honor the Black Panther legacy and stay as true to the world as possible. There is not release date as they are in early development. Stay tuned!
