Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight is set to add a new horror icon to the competitive multiplayer horror game: the xenomorphs from Dan O’Bannon and Ridley Scott’s Alien (1979).
The game has previously added horror icons such as Ash from Evil Dead, Michael and Laurie from Halloween, and Nicholas Cage (from real life).
DLC such as this usually includes both a hero and a villain from the franchise. The xenomorph is guaranteed as the villain. Will Ripley appear as the survivor? And if so, will she be in the tradition of the genuinely incredible likeness of Bruce Campbell as Ash, or the much weaker rendition of Laurie Strode?
The DLC does not have a release date at this time, but it is expected this year. Dead by Daylight can be played on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, on PC, and on the Nintendo Switch.
