Lifelong video game fan and talented musician Aaron Grubb has released another fantastic cover of music from The Legend of Zelda franchise. Grubb has created many, many covers for the series previously, including four albums dedicated to his Zelda covers. If you haven’t checked them out before, I highly recommend doing so.
This latest release, playable below, is a spaghetti western version of “Requiem of Spirit” from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The cover is a unique take that feels as much Twilight Princess as it does Ocarina of Time, and fans of a certain age will appreciate this blend.
The cover art for the single was done by Amber Finnegan (@fossilizedsap on IG). Finnegan has worked previously with Grubb to create visuals for other video game music covers. The full picture can be seen below:
