Square Enix announced via Twitter today that they will be airing their first ever digital-direct on March 18th at 10am PDT/ 1pm EST. In their announcement, they stated that the roughly 40 minute program will feature updates to Outriders, Tomb Raider, and an all new Life Is Strange title, among others.
These digital streams are growing ever more popular, and are proving to be an efficient method of communicating directly with fans. Nintendo popularized these presentations beginning in October, 2011, and ever since video game enthusiasts have relied on them to get the latest Nintendo news. Since 2013, Nintendo has even substituted their live, stage presentations at E3 with these digital directs.
