As we’re getting closer to the June 25th launch, Nintendo gives us a little inside to their much anticipated Mario Golf: Super Rush with an overview trailer. The video goes into detail about how to draw, fade, and use motion controls while playing. Additionally, they reveal 16 confirmed characters, and give a detailed insight on all of the modes that are available. The trailer can be seen here.

Here’s a little info on each mode

Standard Golf: Just like regular golf, you match up against your opponents, and the player with the lowest strokes win.

Speed Golf: Each player tees off at the same time, after you tee off you run to the ball and hit it again. The goal for this round is to sink your shot faster than your opponents. In this mode you can grab power ups that will help you run faster or regain your stamina, but you’ll also have to avoid traps and obstacles.

Battle Golf: This round is virtually Speed Golf with a little more at risk. You match up the same way with the other golfers, but the first person to win 3 holes wins the match.

Additionally they announced all of the characters:

• Bowser Jr
• Wario

• King Bob-Omb

There were a few extra spaces at the bottom, so I’d imagine there’ll be some DLC for characters such as Toadette, Piranha Plant, Luma, or others.
