1–2 minutes

Monster Hunter is Capcom’s current reigning champion in their library gaming industry with Monster Hunter World recently eclipsing 17 million units sold and Monster Hunter Rise approaching 5 million units sold itself. So, of course, you knew it was about time for another Monster Hunter Digital Event!

Via their Monster Hunter Twitter, Capcom has put out the news that the next digital event for the franchise happens May 26th, 2021, at 7 AM PT/ 10 AM ET/ 3 PM BST. The event will be livestreamed on the Monster Hunter Twitch channel and will be focusing on Update Version 3.0 for Monster Hunter Rise as well as featuring new updates for the upcoming Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin game. The stream can also be viewed on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

Not a lot of details were shared from the announcement, but similar to previous Monster Hunter Developer Events in the past, expect to see reveals of new monsters, events, and maybe more. There was an additional tweet letting gamers know about the install size of Version 3.0 for Monster Hunter Rise (approximately 1.4GB).

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is set to release on July 9, 2021 for Nintendo Switch and PC while Monster Hunter Rise is currently available now with an upcoming release for PC expected later. Version 2.0 of Monster Hunter Rise is available now and added new content including apex versions of some of the current monsters and the return of Chameleos alongside Teostra and Kushala Daora.
