Instinction Revealed at Future Games Show

During the future Games show, developer Hashbane, released a new trailer for their dinosaur themed game titled Instinction.

In the two-minute clip shown, we see some gameplay with a mixture of cinematic scenes. From the reveal the game looks to play from a first and third-person perspective depending on preference. We see the playing character being hunted by dinosaurs in what looks to be a Dino-horror game akin to Dino Crisis series. Although, the developer has described the games as a spiritual successor to Dino Crisis games, which makes sense when I think of a Dino-horror, survival game.

Instinction has been in development for over a year now as stated on the developer’s website, and is being created with the Unreal Engine from a team based in New Zealand, who has decades of experience using the Unreal Engine.

Currently the game has no confirmed release date besides 2022, but it will come out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The company has stated that it will be coming to next-gen consoles aka Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5, but it is unknown if it will be through backwards compatibility of native ports. The developer also said they would like to release the game on Switch and Stadia as well.
