Gamers rejoice! As the week of E3 rolls around, Boss Rush Network is geared up to deliver the hot news from all of the gaming announcements that will roll through all weekend long. Today, we kicked it off with the opening day of Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2021, which is hosted by Keighley himself, and sponsored by Amazon Prime Gaming, The 90 minute presentation showcased a wide range of titles that surely will find something for everyone. Let’s take a look at what we saw today.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland

Up first was Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, from 2K and Gearbox; their new title is a four player looter shooter featuring some well known celebrities starring in the games voice acting. Comedians like Adam Sandberg and Wanda Sykes will be heard in the game, with Ashley Burch, returning to voice Tiny Tina from the Borderland series. This is a spin off game from the Boarderland series, and although they didn’t show any game play, this title is expected to release in early 2022. Check out the trailer below.

Metal Slug Tactics

The next trailer may throw you for a loop, because SNK has revealed Metal Slug Tactics to us. I’m really looking forward to the rocking soundtrack, as well as some of the stylish music in the intro. This is a strategy RPG where you take control of Marco, Eri, Fio, or Tarma, as you eliminate teams of enemies on a diorama battle map. Metal Slug Tactics enhances the battle system by performing sync moves that are similar to the older Fire Emblem games, where two attacks from the player will happen in one turn. With the series well know pixelated sprites, you’ll be riding tanks and calling in air strikes with style. No date or console platform has been announced at this time, but you can check out the trailer below.

Death Stranding: Directors Cut

Next up, Keighley sat down with video game director Hideo Kojima to catch up on how life is in Japan, as well as some other small talk. After their talk, Kojima had a surprise for the viewers. While it may remind you of a certain series he has worked on in the past, the title threw PlayStation 5 owners off with the name Death Stranding: Director’s Cut. The trailer has a lot of references that you must see for yourself. As of now, the release is stated as “Coming Soon”, so we should expect more information later on in the year. Watch the trailer below, and see if you can spot some “solid” things.

Jurassic World Evolution 2

Keighley introduced actor Jeff Goldblum to the screen to introduce Jurassic World: Evolution 2. No gameplay was shown, but it gives you an idea on what you’ll come across in this game. Jurassic World Evolution 2 is coming later this year to Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Series X|S. Check out the trailer.

Call of Duty

Call Of Duty Cold War and Warzone will both enter Season Four June 17th. New Maps, weapons, operatives, and move will be live across all platforms. Take a look at the trailer.

Chicory: A Colorful Tale

Shuhei Yoshida, head of PlayStation Indies, was next up to announce some news for PlayStation fans. Chicory: A Colorful Tale has you painting the world in this top down adventure. Chicory: A Colorful Tale will arrive sometime in 2021.

Salt and Sacrifice

Salt and Sacrifice, from the developers of Salt and Sanctuary, is the follow up the 2D sprite based hit. Both games are coming to PS4 and PS5, and will release in 2022.

The Anacrusis

Stray Bombay, a new developer, is creating a game that’s exclusive for Xbox, PC, and Game pass titled The Anacrusis. This four player co-op game will have you blasting, dodging, and helping your team, where your ultimate goal is to make to a massive starship to finish your level. You’ll fight hordes of aliens, while trying to survive the onslaught of challenges. Take a look at the trailer.

Rocket League x Fast & Furious

In a bizarre twist that actually works, Rocket League and Fast 9 will officially make their crossover debut. On June 17th, the 3 car DLC will have you vroom vroom crashing around with other players around the world.

Vampire: The Masquerade Blood Hunt

Sharkmob officially showed off their first game from the Vampire: The Masquerade series, this one is titled Vampire: The Masquerade Blood Hunt. With no gameplay showed, you get an idea from the trailer that it’s a PVP game where you are hunting, or being hunted, by other vampires. If you want a taste of the bloody action, you can sign up for a closed beta at bloodhunt.com. The game is scheduled to release this year.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House Of Ashes

The Dark Pictures Anthology continues with their next game, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House Of Ashes, this game is set to release on October 22nd for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S and for PC, it’s also available for pre-order right now.. There’s also a collector edition named The Dark Pictures Anthology: House Of Ashes Pazuzu Edition .

Tales of Arise

The new Tales Of Arise trailer showed off some gameplay and the character roster. Check out the trailer to see for yourself. Tales Of Arise releases September 10 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S, and Steam. You can pre-order the game right now.

Sky: Children Of Light

Sky: Children Of Light is an open world social indie adventure game developed and published by Thatgamecompany. This game was previously released on iOS and Android, and is set to release on Nintendo Switch June 29th.

Planet Of Lana

Planet of Lana is a puzzle adventure game that stars a young girl and her loyal friend, which stretches across planets and galaxies. This game coming to Xbox and PC 2022. This is its first trailer from Swedish developer, Wishfully.

Evil Dead: The Game

Evil Dead: The Game was finally revealed with gameplay, and announced the platforms that game will appear on. Narrated by Bruce Campbell himself, this 4 player co-op will have you fighting evil in the most bloody, and horrific ways to survive the various evils that will try to take you down. Evil Dead The Game will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch this year.

Elden Ring

The final trailer revealed was quite the surprise, with much anticipation we finally get to see Elden Ring in action. Developers FromSoftware may have another hit on their hands with this open world fantasy. Releasing on January 21st, 2022, this game will be bring players around the world some fast pace action, suspicious enemies and areas, and thrilling adventures you will be a part of. Elden Ring will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series S|X, and PC. Watch the trailer for this breathtaking game.
